AC TYPE 2 & 3 PAXTON PROXIMITY SYSTEMS

PROXIMITY compact is a single door access control system. All of the electronics are within the housing of the reader. Compact systems can be installed to many doors over a site, all using the same cards. The P series readers are supplied with a choice of black or white fascias that can be fitted in the final stages of installation.

The main difference between the two systems is a separate control unit for the external system.

The system memory and lock cables are contained within the internal reader. It is possible to remove the cover and gain access. Therefore, for increased security, a separate controller is used on the external system.

Two standard kits are offered:

AC TYPE 2 – PAXTON PROXIMITY SYSTEM FOR INTERNAL USE

• 1 - Paxton Proximity P38 compact reader (internal)
• 1 - 2vdc 2amp boxed power supply unit

AC TYPE 3 – PAXTON PROXIMITY SYSTEM FOR EXTERNAL USE

• 1 - Paxton Proximity P38 compact reader (external)
• 1 - Paxton Switch 2 control unit
• 1 - 12vdc 2amp boxed power supply unit
